From The Archives Friday #42 {Link Party}

Uncategorized | May 26, 2016 | By

Happy Friday my friends.  I have something new for you today. I am honored to have been invited by some great gals to be guest host for the From The Archives Friday Weekend Blog Hop. While there are many blog link parties out there, this has been one of my favorites as it focuses on blog posts that are more than 6 months old…those oldies but goodies that often times get buried with all the new stuff floating around the internet. I encourage you to take a look at all these great ideas from some of the best minds in the inter-verse! And for my readers who are also bloggers, this link party has been a great prompt for me to go back and look at my old posts and update them as needed.

This week, my ‘archived’ post is from this time last year and is focuses on harvesting garlic. I know I planted my garden a little later this year, but I was really surprised to see just how much I had already harvested this time last year. If you’re curious about growing and harvesting garlic, check it out.

Harvesting Garlic

Fast forward one year and this week I’ve been recovering from a little eye surgery, so it’s been a slow week. The whole ‘stay sedentary’ thing just doesn’t jive with my DNA…I’m chomping at the bit to get moving.

On To The The Party…

We have a lot of new bloggers with us so please make sure you visit a couple other posts that interest you and say hi to your fellow bloggers.  It’s a party, right? Thank you for coming to party with us, I can’t wait to see the cool old stuff in your archives!

FRIENDLY REMINDER This is a party for OLD posts (preferably 6 months old or more, unless of course you are a new blogger and then just send us your oldest stuff).  We can see your new stuff when we click on your home page or on any other link up from this week.  We want to see those special gems that no one got to see when you first started (And you guys have some GREAT ones!)

      Hi friend…It’s a good thing to go back and revisit our posts, especially those from when we first started (cringe!). I always end up doing things I know now to do better and sprucing them up a bit. So thankful that you stopped by and hope to see you again this week.
      Hugs, Lynn
