Monday Musings, March 20

Uncategorized | March 19, 2017 | By

Happy, Happy Monday my friends! We enjoyed a quiet weekend here; well, as quiet as it can be with a 3-month old kitten running track through the house while she’s awake. She’s either running or sleeping. But oh my, is she a sweetie…loves to snuggle!

Flora is still really not sure, well I take that back.  She is sure that she really does not see why we had to ruin her perfectly good situation.

We enjoyed having Kate home for spring break, though it was not even close to being long enough.

Whatever you did this weekend, I hope you enjoyed yourself and found some time to relax as well.

So, I have a little treat for you today!

In addition to my findings from the world wide web, I have a printable for you!

The changing of the seasons always brings to mind the song ‘Turn, Turn, Turn’ from the Byrds and the Bible verse from Ecclesiastes that it originates from, “to every thing there is a season…”  I hope that this might brighten a spot in your home that needs just a little reminder that Spring is definitely on the way.

You will be able to print this from the Subscriber Benefits Library. Here’s the link if you want to subscribe and have access to this and other printables.I love this quote! Free Printable for your spring home decor.

On to my findings this week!

My friend Tammy continues to amaze me with her baking skills. These Lemon Blueberry Cakes looks delicious and really scream, ‘Spring is Here!!’

I have to admit I was a late convert, but I really do now appreciate the unique beauty of succulents. How about some ideas for some succulent planters?

The plight of our bees is one that I does worry me. As such, I’m always looking for ways to help these lovely creatures out. Growing a Pollinator Garden is a great way to give them some love.

Are you getting your house ready for Easter? Check out this fun ‘wreath’ made by my friend Jenny.

And there you have it my friends…great findings from the web AND a printable.

Wishing you a wonderful week.

Really like your posts Lynn. Enjoyable to read and great ideas. Not filled with a bunch of hype. Just honest and to the point. I like to try doing stuff, so appreciate not having to having to spend ages to get to the bottom line.

Hi Lynne: The article about the pollinator garden really gave me something to consider. The plight of the bees is something we should all be concerned about.

I don’t have a cat, but I do have a really large dog. He is my best bud and anything but cuddly. Enjoy your week. Leanna

      Hi Leanna,

The plight of our pollinators is one that makes my heart ache…they are such industrious little creatures and really only do good. (unless of course you are allergic!)

Thanks for swinging by and enjoy your Sunday with your best bud.

      Hugs, Lynn
