The freezer paper made the process so easy…really. I had never appliqued before this project, so if I can do it anyone can. And remember, you are more than welcome to live in my guest room as long and you give me your motivational pep talks all day!

What a gorgeous guest room! Do you mind if I move right in? It’s ready for guests, right? But do I have to leave! I want this room, apple crumble and to take over your desk! LOL I love the red material you used in the room, so warm and inviting and the monogram looks incredible, I had never heard of using freezer paper, it worked really well! Love it!

Hi Kristina, thanks for stopping by. First of all, love the name of your blog! It’s fun and says a lot with just a few words :}

I highly recommend trying this. I had NEVER appliqued before doing this and so was very doable for a beginner… and it came together just as I had hoped. just make sure you reverse your letter before you cut fabric. That was the only minor glitch I encountered.

I LOVE everything about this. I saw some large plain pillow covers at IKEA and I had planned on stenciling my initial and one for my husband for our master bed…but this looks much more high end 🙂 NIce! -kristiina
