Through the past several years I have tried to obtain the actual knitting schematic for the Argyle Knit Baby Blanket and I have never received it. You have published this pattern several times in tour emails and there never was an exact knitting pattern instruction as part of the postings. Would it be possible to get a copy of the actual knitting instructions (Schematic) for this pattern? I would really appreciate receiving it.

Hi Sue, On row 18, [18th row [WS]: k1, p3, k1, p5, k1, p2, k1, p2, knit all until last 15 stitches, p1, k1, p2, k1, p5, k1, p3, k1] you will work a variety of knit and purl stitches for the first 15 stitches that will create the diamond pattern on the border. Then, you will do all knit stitches for the body of the blanket until the last 15 stitches, when you will work a variety of stitches again. I hope this helps, but if not, do reach out!

Hi Lynn. I’m confused on row 18. It says to knit the pattern for first 16 stitches and then knit all til the last 15. Is that right? Am I understanding it?

In reply to Marilyn Whitworth. Hi Marilyn, You could always knit an applied icord around the blanket to finish it nicely. Here's a post showing how to do that if you need it. In terms of making it wider, I would add that width to the middle, arygle section. Hope this helps! Let me know if I can help more. Hugs, Lynn

Do you have knitting instructions for a border. I am only a knitter and cannot crochet but would love to have a border on the argyle baby blanket. Also, I would like to make this bigger in width for me as a knee rug so where would I make it wider which section(s) do I need to repeat in each row to make it wider please. Possibly 60 inches wide and say 70 inches long approximately.

I tried putting my email in to get the Argyle & Diamonds pattern and it hasn’t arrived yet. I got two of your other ones just fine. Thank you for providing these; your blankets are beautiful.
