I’m making this daisy stitch washcloth in the smaller size. The only way I can make the stitches come out correctly is to cast on 33. ? It’s clearly working but I’m not sure why you recommend 34?

Hi Megan,

My guess is that you missed a ‘purl the 3 stitches toghether.’ You should end with a k1. It’s really helpful to count your stitches along the way, you should always end up with 49 stitches, if you are following this pattern as written. If you made it larger or smaller, you should always have the number of stitches that you cast on with.

I am on row 4 of this pattern. I completed my last set of “P3 together with a K1”. I still have 3 stitches remaining? Is the final of this row a KPK after that?

Do you mean work 2 stitches in each corner of the 2nd row around, and then 3 stitches in each corner of the last row?

I haven’t done the border in a contrasting color yet, but I think it would be lovely! When you do, I’d love to see a picture! And I’m so glad the videos are helpful. Being a visual learner, I always find videos more instructive.
