Just started my bag. Don’t quite understand the following directions:

“Rounds 5+
Continue increasing in this pattern:
Next round: *inc, 2 dc, repeat from *
Next round: *inc, 3 dc, repeat from *
Next round: *inc, 4 dc, repeat from *
Continue until your final increase round has 8 dc between increases.”

Do this mean that starting with row 5, we continue the 1 dc, 2 dc pattern and then increase 2, 3, 4, ….. to 8 dc for each row at the start? or is it that the pattern changes according to the row so that it is 1dc, 2dc…… 1 dc, 3dc……. 1 dc, 4dc, etc around the bottom circle.

I would like to know a little bit more about this Rafia yarn. I see that there’s different types of Rafia available and some are a combination of cotton and wood fibers and others look like they’re a kind of paper as if it were like a ribbon for wrapping presents. Could you tell me a little bit more about the rafia you used? Thanks.
