Craft Kits make Great Gifts for the Creatives on your list
I do like the idea of ‘experiences’ for gifts. This year my sister-in-law and her family are taking an incredible trip to Antarctica for Christmas! But, if you are looking for ‘experiences’ on a smaller budget, there are so many great kits that offer the experience of knitting, or the experience of growing a bonsai tree, or the experience of making jewelry.
To that end, I’ve gathered a variety of craft kits that might appeal to that creative person on your list who has everything, but…still would like to learn to embroider.
Some of these are affiliate links and I will earn a small commission off of the sale of these products, but the price you are charged is not affected. You can see my full disclosure policy here.
If you or someone you know might enjoy this art, this kit sounds like it’d be the perfect place to start.
These beaded bracelets are truly wearable art pieces and would be fun and challenging to create.
What a lovely and useful art Calligraphy is! I really need to take the time to master this skill. This kit would be a great place to start.
Who wouldn’t love learning how to bring this little felted mouse to life!
Seems like embroidery was a lost art for many years but is slowly making a comeback. I learned at the knee of my Grandma and still enjoy picking up thread and needle from time to time. A kit to learn this simple but lovely art form would be a great gift for many different ages.
I have always loved these colorful granny square blankets. This kit would be great for someone who also wants to learn this craft.
I hope these craft kits have provided a few good gift ideas for you.

November 17, 2017 at 12:06 pmThat first one on repairing the dishes, I need that desperately. I have a dish were the center fell out all in a perfect circle. The embroidery is also very pretty.
