I like Dishie from Knit Picks. It’s 100% cotton, and I like a pattern that has some texture for better scrubbing. These hold up well as dish clothes. For a face cloth I like Dk CotLin also from Knit Picks. It is 70% cotton and 30% linen. It is soft and feels really nice on my face.

Love the pattern! It’s easy and so pretty! Like you mentioned the only problem is keeping track of the rows. I make a little chart starting with border and list the rows after and then pattern and list the rows needed to attain the desired length of that.

I keep track of my rows with a little journal in which I cross off the rows as I go. I find that very helpful.
