Happy Monday my friends! I do hope you all enjoyed a lovely Spring weekend celebrating Easter, the beginning of Passover or just spending time with loved ones.
We had the whole family together, albeit briefly, for church and brunch on Sunday. Nevertheless, it always feeds my soul when we gather together.
I know you'll be glad to know that I finished the deck! Well, part of it anyway…the hardest part for sure. It's easy going from here on out. I listened to
some many podcasts which definitely made the time more enjoyable. I'm doing some ‘in depth' podcast reviewing for you all…and will be back soon with some suggestions.
Peep, the practically perfect kitten, binged on some Easter grass while we were at Church yesterday… not recommended. Her stomach let her know that it didn't appreciate the Easter grass… in the middle of the night… all over our bed. While everything is being laundered, we are watching her closely to make sure she doesn't have any more issues. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for the tips. I have used several of them successfully…adding shelves in closets, reusing an armoire for kitchen storage, and brutally thinning out my closet. Baskets and more baskets are lifesavers. They look good and can be used in every room. I also got several ideas from Pinterest, especially with bathroom storage. A simple shelf over the door offered room for extra storage accessible with one simple low step that i keep under the bed nearby.
I've often wondered about substituting stevia for sugar in my jams and Claudia had great success with using it the Jalapeno Wine Jelly recipe. Good to know!
You keep sending these great recipes for jams and jellies and all their cousins. The latest one I tried was the Jalapeno Wine Jelly. Had to make it with less heat so I used a big Cubanelle Pepper along with red, yellow, and orange bell peppers. Also used a Sauvignon Blanc as the base and Splenda.
It turned out great, the flecks of the 4 pepper colors was beautiful. Like you I had to get the peppers mixed in for an even suspension (or close to it). Taste is out of this world, and I gave away samples from the end of the batch to friends, along with suggestions of what to put it on. I love the idea of spreading it on bacon.
