Any tips on wood sanding? I’m actually taking a break this week as now I have an eye infection! Not sure it is from the sanding, but not going to put myself in a bunch of dust this weekend.Oh well…guess I have to knit!

I’m struggling with sanding down a table and your are building a kitchen! I am in awe.

Aw thanks, Christina! I do love working on this blog…it’s a great job!

The butterfly net is brilliant! I’ll try to find one as we’ve have bumblebees, birds and hummers in our garage this summer and I try to rescue them all. I tried putting her beak in the feeder, but she didn’t respond. So I placed it on the ground next to her. I would come back periodically to check on her and seems she disappeared after 20 minutes or so.

Thanks Pamela, seems I’m frequently rescuing some critter or another. Just this summer I’ve rescued a snake, a goose, a baby squirrel and that hummer. It’s my calling.

I periodically get hummingbirds stuck in my garage, and found that using a butterfly net to catch them is very useful. I will also hold them and put their beaks in the hummingbird feeder, so they can recover a little quicker. It’s worked well for me so just wanted to pass that along

Back splash is going in next and I almost have a complete tiny kitchen. When a project comes together before the seasons get ready to change. that’s a good thing.
