Hi Sandra Lea,

How are your headwarmers coming together? I have not ever knit one, but can see that they would be very useful! We left the snow in Philadelphia and headed back to NC where it has been cold and rainy for days! Do have a peak of sun today, but not optimistic it will last long! 😥

Happy Knitting, my friend.

Hugs,

Holy Cow! Have we had the rain!? Our yard is literally a swamp right now!

Ugh, sorry to hear you were struck by Covid but glad you are on the mend! I will definitely check into those books you recommend! I am always comforted by a stack of good reads on my nightstand.

Do take care of yourself...I understand that it can take a while to recover your strength!

Many hugs, Lynn

Hi Juanita,

We only had snow while we were visiting our daughter in Philadelphia. Now that we are back in NC, it has done nothing but rain! We have a brief respite right now...actually the sun is shining. But, I don't think it will last long.

I do love to read all history and will check out Pam Jenoff, as well as the other authors you recommend. I am always looking for 'good reads!'

How is your wrist? Are you getting close to being set free?

Hugs,

Oh Barbara! Without exaggeration, messages like yours are what energizes me to keep doing what I'm doing! I do love it, but to know my efforts are appreciated is pure fuel to my tank.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write in and lift my sails!

In reply to <a href="https://nourishandnestle.com/monday-musings-february-15/#comment-17953">Jen j</a>.

Aw, thanks so much Jen! I love working on this blog so much, but I really love knowing that there are Jens on the other end who appreciate my musings. It is the fuel to my engine!

And I am always open to new ideas and suggestions if there is something you'd like for me to tackle! I have several great projects to share, just need the time to sit down and get them out to you all.

Wishing you a wonderful Tuesday!

Hi Lynn,
I hope you are staying warm. We have lots of rain, but we rarely get snow. Just frost.

I don’t know if you like books about the Holocaust, but for some reason I got into them a d find them interesting. My favorite author is Pam Jenoff, have read many of her books. They are based on true events, but fictional characters. And if you like “beachy” reads, Judith Keim, Elizabeth Bromke, and Robin Carr have great books. Just a thought.

Take care my friend and stay warm.

Lynn,
If it's raining, I'd guess you're back in NC. I, too, spent the weekend in creative mode, working on a crocheted sweater and listened to audio books for hours on end. (The Nine Lives of Christmas (fluff) and A Conspiracy in Belgravia (Sherlockian spinoff). On my nightstand, I'm rereading, God Never Blinks by Regina Brett. We are slowly recovering from the dreaded COVID virus which snagged us two weeks ago. Our symptoms were mild overall, but they are slow in leaving. Hence, the hours in "sit down mode." Today is a better energy day so I'm doing the Monday clean sheets & laundry routine. My Sweetie is home from a quick doctor visit, and he's taking me to lunch. Yippee!!! Hugs & blessings, Debie

A friend has requested 9-10 headworkers to give as gifts--of course, easy, but a nice break from baby gifts! She sent the yarn--which is variegated! I, too, watch "decent" movings--such as Hallmark!

Love the winter photo. Here, cold, damp, rainy--and Mr. Sun is still hiding.
