  5. Monday Musings, February 20

Happy Monday my friends! Wow…it was a beautiful, sunny and warm weekend here in Southeastern North Carolina. In spite of the beautiful weather, I made good use of my ‘stay off your feet' time, stayed indoors and did an on-line photography class at Creative Live. I have been hesitant to spend money for an on-line class in the past as I just didn't think it was my learning style. But, I have absolutely loved this photography class by Andrew Scrivani.

I was thrilled to know that I am finally a trendsetter! This has been my modus operandii for years and especially for the past month.

My friend Maria made some beautiful Shibori pillows. Check out her how to here

In writing this, I just realized how many talented friends I have. You need to check out the ‘before' of this dresser. that my friend Sherry made over..here is the after.

This warm weather has me chomping at the bit to get my fingers in our garden dirt.  To say that my garden was lackluster last year would be a huge compliment…it was that bad. To that end, I am eagerly reading everything I can get my hands on to help improve my soil.

Do you believe that your body tells you what it needs? I surely do. When I go through a period of time when I maybe don't eat as well as I should be, my body really demands nourishing foods. Right now, my body is telling me that it needs the dose of sunshine that this salad will provide.

I really do try to plan out my meals each week. This lovely printable meal planner from The Postman's Knock will make that task so much more enjoyable.

I hope you enjoy these little internet tidbits!

I'm keeping my ?that I'll be given the ?from my doctor tomorrow and I can get busy on all the projects I have swirling around in my head.

I wish you a wonderful week…we're inching closer to spring!

Many hugs,

Thank you for sharing my dresser in your newsletter. It has made my day. I really wish that I could take a good photography class too! It would be money well spent. I hope your foot is back to normal very soon!

    Hi Lynn,

So glad you are staying inside and letting that foot heal! You will be back up and running around in no time. I can’t wait to get back outside myself and dig in the dirt a bit!!! Love my time in the garden!!!
