Holy cow! How is it Monday again! I'm thinking I signed up for the ‘speed version' of the Calendar this year. I need to look at my Calendar order and see if I can change it to the ‘snail's pace' version.
Before we get to the musings, I have two pieces of ‘business'. The first is to announce that Rafflecopter chose Kristen as the winner of the $150 The Container Store gift card. We emailed Kristen on Saturday and I'm guessing she's already been shopping! We are mulling over more giveaways this year, so check back.
The second is to acknowledge that I am not Superwoman. I thought for sure I'd be able to keep up my previously planned schedule despite 2 broken bones in my foot. Reality knocked on my door yesterday and gave me a reality-gram. So, I will be posting a little less frequently for the next couple weeks as I let my foot heel.

Very quiet weekend in these parts. Terry was out of town visiting our daughter at school, so I spent the weekend staying off of my broken foot and knitting. I also read a good portion of Getting Things Done by David Allen and spent much of Sunday setting up his recommended systems to help me achieve ‘stress-free productivity'. I'll keep you posted, but thus far I'm feeling optimistic that I'm going to be able to corral all my loose ends.
You had me at ‘double chocolate brownies with whiskey soaked cherries'.
Which is then why this post is so very appropriate.
And this one too.
I am always on the lookout for good podcasts. I did both seasons of Serial and enjoyed every minutes. I followed that with Dan Carlin's Hardcore History…history buffs out there will devour these. With both of these podcasts, I would look forward to the errands I need to run. I heard that the NPR podcasts How I Built This are good and so will give them a whirl…when I get done listening to the Getting Things Done podcasts!
Could there be a more appropriate time in our country for this?
I have a handful of favorite painters whose works I follow, enjoy and collect (or plan to collect). Abbey Ryan is one of them.
My friend Robin has some uber chic (dare I say ‘Kate Spade inspired') recipe binder printables on her site. Pop over and check them out.
And there you have it my friends…a quick journey around the internet in the matter of a few sentences.
Enjoy this week! I'll ‘see' you in a couple of days.
