Yes, it does worry me for my children and their children. On the other hand, I do have hope that they might be able to fix the mess our generation has wrought.

Oh my heavens, Juanita! I am so sorry to hear about your wrist. I don’t guess that there is much you can be doing right now, except watching TV and eating bon bons! I do hope you are being waited on hand and foot! Whatever you do, don’t turn the news on!

Hi Debie, you would think that between the lessons in the Bible and the lessons of history, we would surely be doing better than we are now. Sadly, I don’t believe either of those sources of wisdom are being consulted too frequently. It is upon each of us to shine our light.

It certainly starts with each of us. I cannot even fathom how Americans can treat their fellow Americans as I witnessed last week…it is beyond me. There is no doubt in my mind that you are one of the ‘solutions’ and not the problems.

What welcome words! So many of us feel the same way but are so isolated lately because of Covid – 19 and the political climate. Your picture reminded me of a similar picture and accompanying scripture from another blog. The scripture is from Hosea 6:3 – “Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.”

Hi Lynn, I absolutely feel the same way. Our country is broken in so many pieces. The thought that keeps running through my mind is what are we leaving our children and grandchildren? I pray we find peace soon.
Now, on to decluttering, I had told you I was working on my kitchen, well on the 2nd of January, I fell and fractured my wrist! Yep, trying to shortcut my workout, lost my balance and back I went. So that has put an abrupt to my decluttering for now. In a cast for 6-8 weeks, ugh. But I’ll get back to it eventually.
Have a good time with your cleaning. Always makes me feel good when I accomplish a clean cupboard.
Take care, and take time to just meditate to help bring peace.
