Hi Christie! I am thrilled for you…clearly, it’s been a process for you and now you are realizing your goal with your ‘dream’ townhouse! After these 2 moves, I do hope you will be able to settle in and stay a while! And what fun opening all those boxes! Do enjoy it.

And I’d love to hear how you’ve done taking care of yourself…that is not my strong point…I seem to want to have everything done asap, at the expense of my health and well being. Would love your tips!

I did a major downsize last year and moved from Oregon to Colorado. I am moving this weekend into my ‘dream’ townhome, so I really understand the trials and tribulations you have been going through! I have so many boxes that I haven’t opened in over a year. I am thinking it may be like Christmas with each one I open! I truly don’t remember what I packed to bring with me — it will be a great adventure for awhile!

What I have learned this past year is how important to take time for yourself especially when making major decisions. Of course, I say this hoping I can “hold it together” and be ready for the movers on Saturday! I really think it is more difficult to move nearby compared to long distance. I’ll check in and let you know how much TLC I was able to give myself the rest of this week — I am skeptical that I can take my own advice!
Relax and continue to enjoy the small moments around you and your new home and thank you for sharing your life events with us!
