Thank you so much for sharing your Sling opinions! Other than the commercials, I have not heard much about it and don’t know anyone else who uses it, but I will definitely be adding it to my list to check into. We do use, and love, Roku but still need to fully cut the cord. I really appreciate you taking a minute to share!

We cut the cord almost a year ago. We use Sling TV and some of the paid apps for the tv shows we watch. Sling is getting better and better in their selection of channels and we are saving a lot of cash using Sling. We bought a Roku a little over a year ago and when we updated bought a Roku ready TV. Roku and Sling has changed how we watch TV. We won’t be going back to cable.

We use the Fire Stick from Amazon. We’ve been very pleased with it and we don’t miss cable at all.

Truth be known we cut the cord on cable in 1992 (and television). Yes, 1992. We believe our home is a more peaceful place because of that long ago decision. We do have a tv which we use to occasionally enjoy an Amazon Prime movie and for training videos with small groups and couples. The tv is stored in my husband’s office, so it’s bit of effort to set it up in the living room, but it’s nice not having it as the centerpiece for our living room.
