Happy Monday my friends! I hope you are well and enjoyed a good weekend.
I surely did! I am giving myself a virtual pat on the back as I just completed one seriously productive weekend! I'm sure it was no coincidence that my menfolk were out of town.
I finished my FIRST made-by-myself piece of furniture, trimmed back a bunch of perennials, planted my front porch planters, worked in our vegetable garden, tried a new recipe, did a ton of laundry, cleaned a bushel of oyster shells, pressure washed a runner and my floor cloth and pressure washed, sanded, primed and repainted our metal benches.
Needless to say, I am still feeling the productivity coursing through my veins, so who knows what this week holds!
And, while I was nursing the sore back that was the by product of all my productivity (shock face ?) I watched a fun and quite quirky movie…The Dressmaker. When Terry is gone, I soak in my chick flicks…not sure he would have enjoyed it as much as I did.
On to some great findings from the Googler:
Some great suggestions here. It never dawned on me to use inserts that are larger than the cover.
If winter isn't taking the hint that it's time to leave, here are some ideas to help you channel spring.
Need a quick cake decor idea that will surely impress? Of course it comes from Ina Garten.
How about these quick knit bracelets? (Thanks Regina for sending this idea to me!)
Not only does this cake sound delectable, but the video is just lovely.
I am all about a lovely laundry room. Here's a dreamy one. How about that little pullout drying rack! Brilliant.
Well mes amis, I'm off to wrangle some cattle and build a barn…(joke). In truth, I'm off to take my son to school, which is almost like wrangling cattle…
Have a fantastic week.
