Aloha and Happy May Day my friends!
I spent 7 years of my childhood in Hawaii and I can’t let May 1st come around without remembering our ‘May Day is Lei Day in Hawaii’ celebration. The Hawaiian Tradition celebrates the significance of the ubiquitous Hawaiian Lei and it’s broad symbolism of welcome, farewell, love, hope, or joy…or just plain ‘Aloha’.
So there’s your fun fact for the day!
But wait, there’s more!
From the web:
Always looking to find easier way to clean things…some of these some of these I knew and some I hadn’t thought about before.
I am surprised at how …dare I say ‘addicted’ to social media I have become. I clearly need a social media diet.
Keystone habits are positive habits that are more important than others. Here are 8 keystone habits that can change your life.
We had a delicious dinner with some friends on Friday night and this dessert was served, a moist and decadent flourless (for all my gluten free friends) chocolate cake. I’m pretty sure I will be making this for my dad’s birthday next week.
You know what they say…’necessity is the mother of all inventions’. This uber productive and creative laundry room was the end result of this mom’s quest for a more efficient space. Especially love the drying drawers for delicates.
And speaking of my dad’s birthday dinner…these Harissa Tacos sound and look delicious! I have a open jar of harissa in my fridge that I need to use up.
Wishing you a day filled with Aloha!
