In reply to <a href="https://nourishandnestle.com/monday-musings-may-25/#comment-17048">Janice Hebert</a>.

Hi Janice.

I think I planted the ranunculas too late...hope they do something next year. And I know you will be glad for your girls to get some of their stuff! I'm pretty excited to be able to really walk through my attic when all this stuff is gone!

So, about that bedroom. Would your bed go between the 2 windows? Could you balance the double-hung sash window with a similar-sized picture or mirror on the other side of your bed? I know this isn't a double-hung window, but would something like this work? https://abeautifulmess.com/2015/10/how-to-balance-an-awkwardly-placed-window.html

If you get a chance and don't mind, send a picture.

Hugs,

Lynn

Hi Lynn, it was a very quiet holiday here too. How exciting your children will be off in their own apartments soon. My girls are still picking up boxes of stuff left here and one has been married and divorced already! Love your marbled table! I'll have to try that technique some day. So upsetting about the deer and your blossoms, I've never grown ranunculas but would love to. I'm just starting to plant my window boxes and have lots of seeds to plant this year. I don't have any MacGuyver questions but would love decorating advice for my master bedroom. Only wall the bed can go on has off center windows. On top of that, one is a regular sized double hung sash window and the other is a smaller window closer to the floor. This style is common on older New England capes. I loved the look but it's hard to work with! Any ideas? Jan in MA
