Monday Musings, November 2

Hello there beautiful friends!

I am just returned from a quick trip to Philadelphia to deliver some moral support as well as our dog, Flora, to our daughter up there.

Medical School is hard enough, but when paired with the loneliness that comes from Covid isolation in a new city, the ‘hard’ is multiplied. Having Flora for companionship will surely help!

Normally I wouldn’t ‘lend’ out my Flora, but these aren’t ‘normal’ times. How have you lent support in these strange times?

That being said, it sure is lonely around here!

Before I left I did finish painting the second bedroom. Now the fun starts! I love a clean, fresh palate when decorating a bedroom.

Our niece just got engaged this weekend! My mom is tickled to be receiving the photos sent right to her digital frame. That photo frame was a hit before Covid, but since then, when mom hasn’t been able to attend family gatherings, she appreciates it even more. If you are looking for a good Christmas gift, we have been very pleased with the Nixplay. We purchased ours almost 3 years ago and have not had one issue with it; it seems it has been replaced with this one.

Just a reminder, don’t forget to grab your 2020 Thanksgiving Planner. And while you are at it, go ahead and print off the 2020 Ultimate Holiday Planner to at least start thinking about your plans for the next 2 months. You’ll be glad you got a head start. More than ever, I really want these 2 holidays to be relaxed and focused on the real meaning and less focused on the ‘busy’.

  1. Same here. Amy asked Meg to bring her Shadow, her dog. That’s my girls. We had to meet up for the pass off after a few weeks. Amy just couldn’t take care of her with the studio work she had to do. It’s tough days for our kids away at school. I’m counting the days until she’s home. Great post today.

    1. Hi Linda,

Hate that Amy couldn’t keep Shadow with her! But I guess it is good that she is keeping busy! I take it she will be home for Thanksgiving? I know I am looking forward to having my fledglings back in the nest for a few days!

      Stay safe, my friend.

      Many hugs, Lynn
