Oh, I hope I didn’t give anything away! But…do start watching and let me know what you think is going on…we are just a little perplexed. And I think I am the ONLY person in the civilized world who hasn’t watched Outlander…does your husband like it? For some reason I thought it was a chick flick thing and that mine might not enjoy it.

I wish I could take credit for that idea…not sure where I heard of it but we used it last year and it is brilliant. Kept the gravy warmer and the whole process neater. And bonus points for using hubby’s grandma’s teapot!

I have one! I had a very chipped gravy boat my grandmother had made in a ceramics class, and the handle broke off, very brittle pieces, so I used it with a ladle, but the teapot makes so much sense. In a way, I’m sad that Grandma’s gravy boat is to be thrown, but I am a believer in everyday using those things given and handed down to you, rather than kept away in a box or cupboard. And the bonus, the little teapot belonged to my husband’s grandmother.!

I was wondering how they were going to explain things! Haven’t started watching season 3 as it was released just as my husband was leaving on a 3 week business trip. He returned on Saturday just in time for our granddaughter’s christening and the start of season 4 of Outlander on Sunday. (Have you watched Outlander or read the books? Great show, even better books!) Can’t wait to start watching High Castle!
