Love this! Your soup recipes are always keepers. I made this stove top as my slow cooker is too small. Other than that, made exactly as recipe calls for. So good, so satisfying and healthy! As with all soups, even better the next day! Thanks for sharing yet another great recipe.

Hi Jan,

Same with my hubby! I think lentils have a bad wrap, until they are enjoyed in a hearty soup.

I hope he enjoys it as much as my husband ultimately did.

I love lentil soup, my husband-not so much! At least he says he doesn’t like it but once I serve it he often times eats two bowls full! I will definitely be trying your recipe and will add some kind of meat. I like the bacon idea. And I think I have a small piece of kielbasa in the freezer! Thanks for the recipe, Lynn! Jan in MA
