In reply to Dee. Hi Dee, Each time you feed a sourdough starter, you discard a bit of it. Instead of throwing it away, you can make these crackers as well as a variety of other baked yummies with it.

I stopped buying the name brand crackers because of their horrendous ingredients. My family went crazy for this recipe results! I used my pasta maker attachment to make the dough very thin. They even looked just like the name brand. The crackers were gone as fast as i was able to bake them! Thank you for this recipe we needed this bad.

Hi Gale, I’m so glad you enjoyed them! I’ve made them with Monterey Jack as well as cheddar, but I’m in the ‘all cheese is good’ camp!

I used white extra old cheddar, so mine aren’t as golden as pictured but the taste! Amazingly flavoured and super fast and easy.
