I love applebutter and enjoy making my own, but without sugar. Here’s my tip to sweeten it naturally…
Stew up a small pot of prunes and raisins. When softened, drain out most of the liquid, puree the fruit in a blender then mix into your applebutter. This adds a nice richness to the taste.
