Thanks for the finger guard suggestions! That’s a great idea.

Unfortunately the ads are a necessary evil for all media sites. Just like with magazines and t.v., advertising is how we pay the bills. I want to keep the site free for all to use and also minimize the number of ads…it’s a fine line. I very much appreciate your input.

Ideas for cooks- they have finger guards to use when cutting in a variety of materials, metal or plastic. Love your site but what’s with all the adds? Hard to follow your stories with all the distractions. And they are difficult to close.

Crazy how you don’t realize you need a thing until you see it and then think, “I’ve been needing this!” It was like that with those steam vent releases…Such a simple idea but so very useful! And there is no rule that says you can’t treat yourself while buying stocking stuffers for others!

Happy Thanksgiving my friend! I am up early to get started in the kitchen. I love it when I’m busy baking and the rest of the house is asleep. There is something very comforting about that.

So glad you found some of those ideas useful! I love finding handy gadgets!

As it relates to the fudge sauce, From what I understand, you can freeze fudge sauce…may need to mix it up real well after thawing and possibly add a wee bit more cream/milk.
