That pup of ours, Flora, is TOOOO good. She is so laid back and just sweet. Didn’t even think of chomping on the cookies…she’s a keeper. Hope you get some leaf viewing in up in your part of the world…should be lovely about now.

Leef peeping is now my absolute favorite term… I will have to find somewhere around here to talk a nature walk. Especially if I get to pack yummy cookies!

So funny, one of my best friends lives in England and sends us tins every year. I couldn’t even tell you how many empty Walker Shortbread tins I have! I hate to throw them out, they come in handy.

I love that the cookies bring you such lovely memories of your Grandma! You are blessed my friend.

Aw thanks, Sandy, truly was so easy. That lovely wool blanket has been ‘in the family’ since my parents were in college and that ‘cutting board’ was from a piece of wood I just rescued after the hurricane blew down the tree. That picnic basket? My mom picked that up in Hong Kong probably 40 years ago! It just all came together.

I do hope you get out and enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend.

Are trees are about 50% changed now, but progressing fast now that the weather has cooled. I absolutely love an autumn stroll through the woods, and stopping for a picnic is such a great idea. We have a little Scottish shop in town that carries the Walkers shortbread and it is such a treat to pick up a package every now and then! BTW…not sure how your puppy was not sneaking a cookie or two!

Oh, my dear Billie…thanks for sharing your Leaf Peeping outing with me! It sounds divine! Now that we are empty nesters, we are going to take more little weekend trips and I just added this one to our list…along with those restaurants!

We have our windows open today too…it is sheer bliss, isn’t it?! It’s been a long hot summer and I am so ready for this season.
