Sometimes we need to shirk all of our responsibilities and paint and decorate sugar cookies! Am I right?

Ingredients

Unsalted Butter Sugar Salt Egg Vanilla Flour Decorations Royal Icing Metallic Luster Dust Lemon Extract

Metallic Sugar Cookies

Bake the cookies then cut them out using Ornament Cookie Cutters…because ornaments PLUS copper and silver are lovely.

Using Luster Dust

Pour a bit of lemon extract into the cap of the luster dust, then dip your paint brush in the juice then the dust!

Enjoy Painting

I used several coats…letting them dry in between. Because of the alcohol in the extract, the paint dries quite quickly.
