I’m sorry for the frustration. This post which shows how to fix moth holes might also work for socks, depending on how big the hole is.

All it says is to darn it. Then it suggests you bookmark it – but why, if it told me nothing? I went through at least 5screens, and there is nothing to open. This is frustrating. Holes in socks need repair!
