Getting Prepared...

If you will be canning the jam, prepare a canner, jars, and lids. Wash and sterilize your jars and lids.

the Peppers...

Seed, cored and halved bell peppers are diced and ready to rest on towels.

Add vinegar to the pot. Then mix the pectin and 1/4 cup of sugar. Then add that mixture to the peppers.

Stir well, bring to a rolling boil, add remaining sugar and cook for one minute.

immediately jar...

You’ll find that the peppers want to float to the top of the jelly after you put it in the jar. After one hour of cooling, turn the jar over.
