Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon cardamom
  • pinch ground cloves
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup brandy

Instructions
 

  • Combine sugar and cream in a saucepan
  • Add all spices, mix, and heat over low heat until the cream begins to simmer and small bubbles form along the side of the pan
  • Put eggs in a blender and blend on medium speed for 1 minute
  • While the blender is on medium speed, slowly add cream and blend for another minute.
  • Add brandy and mix to just combine.

Notes

This blender eggnog is really best when refrigerated for a day or two so that the flavors can meld. The alcohol in the eggnog keeps any nasty bacteria at bay. Further eliminate any concerns by using pasteurized eggs in the eggnog.
