Mini White Chocolate Mint Mousse
Not only is this White Chocolate Mint Mousse recipe really easy, but all the components can be made a day ahead and assembled before serving. Truly… entertaining recipes don’t get much easier than this, and you could add just a touch of green food coloring for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations! Not for nothing, a ‘mini mousse’ means that you can satisfy your sweet tooth without feeling guilty!
Without a doubt, I have a sweet tooth. And, I have very little discipline when it comes to said sweet tooth. As soon as dinner is finished, I REALLY want a sweet something-something to finish my meal.
Did you know there is a real physiological reason we crave something sweet after a meal? The thought is that your body uses energy to digest that meal you just ate, and sugar provides a wee boost of energy. So there…
That being said, just a small dessert is clearly better for us than some wonking big dessert.

Enter the Mini White Chocolate Mint Mousse.
It’s minty, fresh, and…not to be understated…a mini mousse version. It’s the type of dessert I will enjoy, will satisfy my sweet tooth, and I will not feel guilty about it!
And, most importantly, at just 3 ounces, these Mini White Chocolate Mint Mousse cups are huge on flavor! Minty chocolate cookies are perfect for the base of the dessert. A light and airy Minty White Chocolate Mousse tops the mini desserts and pairs perfectly with the dark mint chocolate cookie. Some options for the cookie are Keebler Fudge Mint Delight Cookies, Oven Baked Fudge Mint Cookies, or Back to Nature Mint Fudge Cookies.
You can easily alter these mini mousse desserts by adding a little green food coloring to the mousse or using Creme de Menthe instead of the mint extract. A touch of green would make these Mini White Chocolate Mousse cups all the more festive for Christmas or St. Patrick’s Day.

This looks like the perfect dessert,I love that you used a cookie as the “crust”, how cute! I think I need to try this for a holiday dinner.
it would be perfect for a holiday dessert…maybe add a little green food color or creme de menthe!
This is my kind of dessert! Small, sweet, and delicious! I’ll be making this for sure! Pinned!
It is just about perfect my friend…just enough to satisfy that sweet tooth.
Oh my goodness Lynn! I will be making these this weekend for sure! Just need to find the Walker’s Shortbread Mint Royals! I didn’t even know they were a thing. I already have everything else on hand!
Hey Maureen,
Do you have a World Market? I know that they have them there.
And you will love them! Such a perfect after dinner treat.
Hugs, Lynn
This sounds delightful! You may wish to check the written recipe for the timing of chocolate melting – several 30 MINUTE runs in the microwave will burn it badly. How about 30 SECOND runs as noted in the video? Now for some dessert making! Thank you!
Fay, you are so right. Thanks for catching that error. I fixed it…phew.
Happy dessert making!
Hugs, Lynn
Oh my gosh, Lynn. My mouth is watering after seeing these. I love mint chocolate and so does my husband. I’ll definitely be trying this one.
Oh Angie, I do think you will love them as much as we do! Enjoy my friend!
I’m a chocolate mint lover and want to try out this simple dessert. Do you know if the chocolate mint shortbread, Walkers, can be found in any grocery stores rather than online? Thanks, Barbara
P.S. Did you mean 30 second, rather than 30 minute increments in microwave for cream cheese and white chocolate chips. I figured it w as a misprint since you said 30 seconds on video.
Hey Barbara, thanks so much for catching that error! I fixed it. And I know you can find them at World Market…do you have one around you?
I’m with you, Lynn – I need something sweet after dinner and these look perfect for that! Yum. Pinning for later!
Hey Robin, I think you will love them…they are so light and refreshing!
Oh these look devine. And the perfect size! It’s so easy to overindulge on a dessert when you can pick your portion. 😂
Absolutely Laura…the smaller version is the way to go for portion control!
This looks absolutely delicious! I love how you made individual servings in your pretty jars. Any guest is sure to enjoy this dessert.
Thanks Paula…I am all about the mini dessert right now. Little does my family know that Thanksgiving pies are going mini too!
My two favorite flavors, perfect for the holidays!
Mint and Chocolate are bliss together, aren’t they?!
