Monday Musings, February 11

Happy Monday Lovelies!

So, we watched the Grammy’s last night…I hate to say this because I sound like my Grandma…but…I had NO CLUE who most of the performers were! And, how odd is that Lady Gaga is now the most mainstream musician!!

That being said, I thought Alicia Keys did a wonderful job…did you see her playing 2 pianos at once? And it is refreshing that she is so comfortable in her own skin that she doesn’t feel the need to wear makeup.

I can go days without putting on makeup, but not sure I’d have the gumption to do it on TV.

Oh, and can we all agree that Dolly Parton is a National Treasure?

Great suggestions for how to be an artist.

A Dying Mother’s Letter to Her Daughters, a beautiful good-bye. And I think I’d like to read her book.

How often do you wash your bras?

If you are a caregiver for someone with memory issues who needs daily medication, this Automatic Pill Dispenser is a life saver. We’ve been using it for 2 years and now making sure medications are taken only when they should be taken is one less thing to worry about. Just a note…keep (or download) the manual for when you need to change the time for daylight savings time.

  1. Hi Lynn! First, thanks for the truffle recipes. Those would make an extra special gift for my daughter. Trouble is, I will have to give them to her a half dozen at a time! She has no self control when it comes to truffles. lol Next, just so you have no guilt feelings (haha), I didn’t know anyone except Dolly , Lady Gaga and Alicia Keys. I don’t think I want to…….

    1. Oh Linda, your daughter and I have a great deal in common! They are dangerous.

And SOOOO glad you didn’t know anyone either…and can I say…I wasn’t impressed with the ‘talent’ either…other than those names mentioned. I feel bad saying it, but…truth hurts!

      Here’s to the ‘old gals’!

      Hugs, Lynn
