News from The Nest, September 8

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday!

I hope you are coming off of a relaxing or a productive weekend, whichever one you needed most. I had the most enjoyable weekend, all by myself. I just fiddled around, all by myself. Ate what I wanted, when I wanted, all by myself. Binge-watched a chick flick (Outrageous, about the Mitford sisters ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐), all by myself. You get the idea.

Let me underscore that I am happily married (40 years next year!) to a wonderful and supportive man.

That said, Terry was out of town this weekend and I had a wonderful time, all by myself (well, and Elsa and Peep). As an introvert at my core, my soul is nourished by time spent alone. It was only relatively recently that I realized this about myself, and once I did, it explained a great deal about me.

The Half Linen Stitch Knitted Blanket Pattern is big, cozy, and full of texture, with a dense, woven look that beautifully showcases the yarn. What makes this blanket extra special, though, is the optional faux fur edging—it adds a touch of luxury and warmth, making the piece feel both modern and inviting. Perfect for curling up under on cool evenings or as a thoughtful gift.
