Monday Musings, June 14
I hope it is a beautiful Monday Morning where you are!
We are coming off of a WONDERFUL weekend! Our family and many of our friends were finally able to celebrate and pay honor to our dad, who died in December from complications of Alzheimer’s. Mom wanted to wait until she could hug everyone, and she got her wish as there was a whole lot of hugging going on! 🥰 There were a few tears but much more laughter, which is exactly what dad would want. Dad will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery in October, but this memorial was the first step toward honoring our father.
And today is my husband’s and my 35th Anniversary! I guess I let the cat out of the bag that we were mere babes when we were wed! 😉

Well, my friends, I hope you have a week filled with smiles and good memories. I have been so focused on dad’s memorial for the past couple of weeks that I haven’t been very productive elsewhere. With his service behind us, now I have no excuse! I do have a couple of recipes and projects that I need to document and publish, so I have plans to be constructive this week! Wish me luck.
